DONATE BY COLOR.
I think I might have found a new favorite handbag brand.
Angela & Roi expresses individuality, uniqueness, and passion, founded on strong moral principles. Besides being an extremely sophisticated
brand A&R has a strong belief giving back to those in need. Donate by color is new campaign within with a color based theme.
Because Angela & Roi is known for vibrant colors, they have linked each
to a different cause and organization. There is a strong connection between
their products and the generosity behind them.
HOW IT WORKS.
You guys should definitely support this MAJOR
project! I Purchased a Square Mandarin-Orange Tote. Gorgeous bag+helping others? It’s a win win
situation!! Here’s how it works.
Different medical issues relate to specific
colors. For example, Kidney Disease awareness links traditionally with the color
orange. This means that five dollars will automatically
be donated to the Lung Cancer Alliance. You have eleven non-profit organizations to
choose from!

Teen Vogue Fashion University 2013
Okay so if the pictures don't do any justice…For the second time, I had a fantastic time a Teen Vogue Fashion University 2013!! Friday night’s kick-off event was at Express in Times Square. It was so amazing. There were so many great people that I met just waiting in line to get in!
Throughout the night, there were people walking around with trays of mini hors de’ouvres & mocktails; it was so classy. There was a photo booth, a dry braiding bar, and someone to do fashion illustrations of your outfit that night. Express provided a 25% discount on there clothes for all FashionU students!

Saturday morning we had to get up early for registration. That’s where we got our badge with all of our classes on it, and our Shopbop bag with a TON of free goodies (I love them all). The day started off with a seminar with Amy Astley (Editor in Chief of Teen Vogue) and the rest of the Teen Vogue editors. We moved on to all of our other classes, where I had the pleasure of learning about so many individuals’ success stories and how they got to where they are.
The day came to a close with the TOPSHOP Private Shopping Event, and that’s when I felt like I was in heaven. FOUR FLOORS OF ABSOLUTE GREATNESS. The third floor was exclusive for Teen Vogue students.

Sunday was so bittersweet. We watched an inspiring documentary, The Editor’s Eye, featuring behind-the-scenes interviews with editors who have contributed to the Vogue magazine’s legacy. Then we were introduced to Eve MacSweeney (Features Editor of Vogue) and Phyllis Posnick (Executive Fashion Editor of Vogue). Eve interviewed Phyllis, and we also got to ask a few questions of our own! Then graduation time came, where we received our diplomas and got our photographs taken. Leaving the friends I made was so sad; it’s crazy how easily you can connect with those who share the same interests as you.
I really could go on and on about that weekend. I felt like I was where I belonged, as if I was already living the life I’m meant to live in the future. I CANNOT wait to meet up with these amazing people again, next year!!
